Humphreys University, previously known as Humphreys College, is a distinguished private, non-profit university with two campuses in Modesto and Stockton, California, USA. Academic Policy

  • Humphreys University's full-time MBA-IT program fully complies with all USCIS and SEVIS regulations for international students.

  • The MBA-IT is a full-time hybrid program, blending online and in-person instruction.

  • Each quarter, which is 11 weeks, students are required to take two 4-credit courses. 

  • The on-site sessions of the courses are held over one weekend (two days) each quarter. There is a two-week break between quarters.

CPT Policy

  • Internship is an integral part of the program, allowing students to be authorized for CPT from the first day of the program and throughout the entire 27-month duration without any gaps or interruptions. You can also request for starting CPT 30 days before the program start date.

  • CPT Application: A CPT agreement signed by the employer is typically required, but you may have the option to request a waiver. For more information, please contact us.

    *Offer letter is not required to apply for CPT.

  • CPT Renewal: Student are required to renew their CPT every academic year. There is no gap between CPT authorizations.

On-Site Policy

  • Students are required to attend a two-day on-site session each semester (9am-3:30pm Saturday and 9am-1pm Sunday).

  • Failure to attend may result in the termination of your F-1 student status. 

Vocation Policy

  • The 4th and 8th semesters are mandatory annual breaks, during which students can continue working under CPT authorization.

Tuition and Scholarship

  • Fixed Tuition Fee: $3,000 per semester, with no extra charge for using CPT. The total tuition is $21,000 (the forth and eighth semesters are mandatory breaks, so students only need to pay for seven semesters).

  • Annual Tuition: $9,333.

  • Payment Deadline: Tuition must be paid before the semester begins.

Day 1 CPT Program

    • Requires completion of 52 credits;

    • Typically finished in an average of 27 months;

    • Can provide up to 2-3 additional opportunities for H1B lottery.

Master of Business Administration - Information Technology (STEM)

This MBA program offers a comprehensive curriculum aimed at advancing the skills and knowledge of business professionals. Tailored for both established and aspiring business leaders, the program delves into a thorough exploration of theoretical and practical business concepts. It emphasizes skill development for effective leadership and decision-making. Participants will engage in coursework led by experienced leaders, gaining practical insights from real-world scenarios.

The Information Technology concentration equips students with practical decision-making abilities tailored for roles like Chief Technology Officer, Computer Information Systems Manager, Senior Project Manager, and IT Director. To graduate, students must complete 8 core courses (32 units) and 4 concentration courses (20 units).

Master of Business Administration - Organizational Leadership

This program empowers professionals to develop the strategic, leadership, and decision-making skills needed to succeed in today’s complex business landscape. Through a balanced curriculum of theory and real-world application, students learn from experienced leaders and gain practical insights to manage teams, drive change, and lead organizations effectively.

The Organizational Leadership concentration prepares graduates for roles such as Operations Manager, HR Director, and Organizational Development Consultant. Application Guide

How to apply and waive the application fee?

1. Start the Application: Fill out the form below to receive application instruction and visa advice.

  • Pay an application fee of $40 (contact us to waive the application fee).

 

2. Submit Application Documents:

  • Academic Transcripts: unofficial transcripts from all educational institutions you have attended, with a GPA of 2.7 or higher.

  • Diploma: highest degree diplomas.

  • Resume: current personal resume.

  • Foreign Transcript Evaluation: provide a foreign transcript evaluation (if applicable).

  • English proficiency test: can be waived if you hold a U.S. degree.

    • TOEFL: 80 or above

    • IELTS: 6.0 or above

    • Duolingo: 105 or above

  • Financial Documentation: a bank statement (minimum of $26,000) within the past three months. 

  • Immigration Documentation:

    • Copy of Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

    • Current I-94

    • F-1 Visa (if applicable)

    • Current I-20 (if applicable)

    • I-797 Notice (if applicable)

    • EAD Card (if applicable)

3. SEVIS Transfer (for OPT students): After receiving your admission letter, reach out to us to coordinate the SEVIS transfer timing and complete the necessary form to transfer SEVIS to Humphreys University.
