On August 12, SEVP sent a broadcast message to DSOs about CPT authorization. It spread quickly online, and students have been asking one question ever since: is Day 1 CPT banned?This session answers that by reading the actual documents — the broadcast, the CPT regulation, and DHS's Duration of Status rule from July.
