LIM College, founded in 1939 and located in Midtown Manhattan, is a private college built for students who want to turn an interest in fashion into a real career. Current OPT and F1 students may obtain CPT Authorization from Day 1.
Overseas applicants may obtain CPT Authorization from Day 1.
CPT authorization needs to be renewed every term.
CPT is required for graduation.
When submitting the I-20 application, students must indicate whether they require an initial I-20 for entry into the U.S., a change of status, or an I-20 transfer. LIM College will honor the student’s selected pathway and provide guidance throughout the appropriate process.
CPT is permitted only during active semester periods, and students may not continue internships during official college breaks. The only exception is the Fall term, during which students may continue CPT through the Winter Break.
